Restoration, reconciliation, renewal and redemption
Jajuan “Jay”
Jay is a young adult at 21 years of age. He is originally from Baton Rouge Louisiana. His grandmother was his rock at a young age and held the family together as most do in our age. After her passing his family structure and stability deminished.
Since he was 19 he has been living in unfavorable conditions such as this. Previously he stayed in a broken down vehicle. Jay prioritizes holding employment and maintains full time employment the best he can but falls victim to circumstance . His struggle is with structure and the lack of resources.
Jay’s biggest comfort in his life is his puppy that is very well taken care of. Currently we are working with Jay on acquiring stable living arraignments for these two. Jay is employed full time and works 6am - 3pm Monday through Friday.
Lacking in structure and support from an early age has left Jay without things we often take for granted. Teachings and guidance such as saving, planning and so on. We are working on obtaining missing documentation. We have recently ordered his birth certificate so that he can earn his drivers license and apply for his Twic card. After meeting the immediate needs Jay has such as residency and transportation. Jay will be enrolled in a vocational program so that he can work towards career options. He has asperations for obtaining his CDL .
